If you're in Whyalla and searching for a cozy spot to enjoy a bite, look no further than Blended Cafe. Nestled conveniently at 18 Forsyth St, this charming cafe offers a delightful blend of flavor and warmth, perfect for a breakfast outing or a midday respite.

Cuisine Type: Blended Cafe focuses on casual dining with a menu that highlights simple yet hearty choices. From scrumptious toasted sandwiches to rich, creamy coffee, the offerings are both appealing and satisfying. You'll find a range of fillings for toasted sandwiches, like delectable smoked salmon, fresh spinach, and creamy cheese, all priced reasonably at A$13.00. Don't miss their signature Salmon Benny, a divine creation featuring poached eggs atop a toasted crusty loaf, finished with smoked salmon, baby spinach, and a drizzle of hollandaise for A$28.00. It's a local favorite that has everyone raving!

The cafe’s array of Open Melts also deserves a moment in the spotlight. Imagine sinking your teeth into the BBQ Chicken melt, brimming with tender chicken, sautéed capsicum, and gooey melted cheese, all for just A$20.00. The bites are perfectly balanced and evoke a sense of comfort — ideal for those craving a hearty lunch option.

Customers have consistently praised the atmosphere at Blended. One visitor described the experience as inclusive and welcoming, with a friendly greeting that sets a warm tone right from the start. With such remarks as, “The girls working there are so lovely too. Very friendly and always smiling,” it’s evident that the staff creates a lively, inviting environment that encourages repeat visits.

While the majority of reviews highlight the delightful food and service, not all feedback is without critique. One customer noted the size of servings for a bacon and egg roll as being on the smaller side, hinting at a need for value reevaluation. However, this is often overshadowed by the generous quality and taste that keeps patrons coming back.

No visit to Blended Cafe would be complete without indulging in their exceptional coffee. Specific mentions of their flat white—a true test of any cafe’s coffee prowess—solidify their reputation in this realm. As one coffee aficionado remarked, “You’ll forget everything with the first sip of the great decent coffee you’ve got.” With hot drinks starting from A$5.20 for a Macchiato up to A$8.50 for a tall Vienna, every caffeine craving is catered to.

Blended Cafe is more than just a cafe; it's a beloved community hub that reinforces the charm of Whyalla with each delicious meal and hearty conversation. Whether it's a lively breakfast with friends or a solo coffee break, Blended invites you to enjoy a taste of local culture. Give it a try and experience it for yourself—you may just discover your new favorite cafe!

I suggested we try a different place for breakfast this weekend instead of the usual. Wow, we were all pleasantly surprised. Everything from the friendly greeting upon entering to the awesome tasting quality food. Meals were reasonably priced also. Highly recommend this place, hope they maintain the high standard. We will be back guys.

Loved this place! I had eggs benny and it was awesome! They cook the eggs well and they use knorr hollandaise sauce which is my favorite! The girls working there are so lovely too. Very friendly and always smiling. Great location being in town and very clean

BLT was tasty but probably the smallest I've ever been served and for $13? May need to think about that one? Coffee was OK too.

Whyalla is a town totally dependent on its major employer - the steelworks and the iron ore mines outside of town that feed it. The steelworks is currently in the hands of an administrator who is trying to sell it. The effect on Whyalla and business is obvious to see. Empty shops everywhere and run down infrastructure. Then there are the ‘diamonds in the rough’ like the Blended Cafe. I have visited the Cafe several times when travelling to or through Whyalla. The staff greet you with a friendly smile and a hello. The coffee is amongst the best you would find in a big city and there is a range of delicious food to tempt you. The Cafe is always busy - a sign of its popularity with locals and travellers. It is located at the Western end of Forsyth Street. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect on a sunny day. Whyalla has over 300 of those every year!

Spot on! There is not much fancy interior or gorgeous tables and chairs, but this cafe should not be underrated by its appearance. You'll forget everything with the first sip of the great decent coffee you've got. I love coffee and especially flat white. A lot of cafes serve latte as flat white (too much form to call it flat white). This place serves exactly flat white as flat white. My wife loves long black, but she doesn't like sour coffee. She loves Blended's long black. It is very rare for us to find beautiful coffee exactly what we like on holiday, but we were 100% satisfied with our experience at Blended. Highly recommend and we will definitely visit again whenever we visit Eyre peninsula. It is worth it to stop at Whyalla just to have a cup of coffee at Blened if you're travelling around the area.

Very nice baconnand egg roll with hollondaise. Coffee was also good although I'm nit sure why it was served in a takeaway cup. Nice spot with some interesting initiatives like the kindness wall. Quite a few menu options.
